Our Ministries
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ” 1 Corinthians 12:12
“Saint Peter and Saint Paul, one of seven Coptic Orthodox Churches located in the greater Montreal area was founded in 2011 to pursue the Apostolic mission of healing the sick and providing refuge to the broken who turn to Christ in faith and seek renewal through the life and glory of the Holy Trinity.
“If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” John 13:14
In emulating Christ’s message of love and humility, we are all called to testify to the Gospel and to minister to one another in action. Saint Peter & Saint Paul is committed to providing services that tend to all members in the congregation. Children, youth and adults are invited to participate in becoming active members in the body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sunday School
“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2
Sunday school classes are given at Saint Peter & Saint Paul every Sunday at 12pm after breakfast.
Open to children as young as 3 years old up to young adults at the university level, the Sunday school program’s mission is to provide our children with a foundation of knowledge in pursuing Christ and growing spiritually in fellowship with one another.

Deacons
“Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.” 1Tim 3:8-10
Derived from the Greek word Diakonos signifying ‘’servant’’, the deacon provides an extended arm to the priest in his religious service. Deacons are the third and lowest in the hierarchy of orders in the Orthodox Church and are subordinate to the episcopate and presbyterate. The life of a deacon must reflect diligence and honesty in pursuing righteousness and so as a good and faithful servant will he find his reward.
Bible Study
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
The Bible study program fosters an intimate setting that allows its members to participate freely and grow in the Word of God, ask questions and understand the Bible’s application in daily life.
Join us on Tuesdays at 8pm in the Saint Peter Saint Paul Chapel for weekly Bible Study, as we alternate between the books of the Old and New Testament.
